Ben Binger
Chief Executive OfficerBen serves as the CEO of Tamarack Group and is responsible for setting its strategic direction and enabling the realization of Tamarack’s mission. He assists with the identification, evaluation and acquisition of all investments as well as the governance of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Tamarack Group, Ben spent twenty years serving as a Special Agent in the FBI. With the FBI, Ben worked on white collar crime investigations, hostage rescue operations - to include numerous overseas assignments, led a field office SWAT team and finished as supervisor over all national security investigations and undercover operations in Utah, Idaho and Montana. Prior to his career in the FBI Ben worked in private equity and real estate development.
Ben has a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Colorado, Boulder where he was a member of the alpine ski racing team and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University in New York City where he played rugby.
Ben has extensive investment and boardroom experience and serves on the Board of Directors of several affiliated companies and not-for-profits.
Ben’s experience working in and leading mission critical teams has enabled him to build a productive and high functioning team capable of accomplishing Tamarack Group’s multi-faceted mission.
Blair Lockwood
PresidentBlair serves as President of Tamarack Group with overall responsibility for execution of all initiatives consistent with the strategy developed by Tamarack Group. He also leads all significant investment and acquisition transactions.
Prior to joining Tamarack Group, Blair represented the Binger family’s interests for over 20 years. He has decades of experience practicing law in large international law firms in the mergers and acquisitions, tax, capital markets and general corporate areas.
Blair has extensive boardroom experience and serves on the Board of Directors of several affiliated companies and a family office based in Denver, Colorado.
Blair has a law degree (with honors) and a business degree (with distinction) (specializing in accounting) from the University of Nebraska.
His diverse background and extensive experience allow Blair to anticipate challenges, execute strategy, complete transactions and achieve business goals.
Blair and his wife reside in San Clemente, California, and enjoy family activities and international travel.
Dave Schultz
Senior Vice PresidentDave serves as the Senior Vice President of Tamarack Group, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the back-office operations of the firm. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Dave ensures that the operational aspects of Tamarack Group run smoothly and efficiently. His extensive experience is further highlighted by his positions on the board of directors for several affiliated companies, where he provides valuable insights and guidance.
For over thirty years, Dave has served as a trusted financial advisor to the Binger family, building strong relationships and delivering strategic financial advice that has stood the test of time. His deep understanding of financial landscapes has made him an invaluable asset to those he serves.
Raised in Hinsdale, Montana, Dave carries the values and spirit of his home state with him. He lives in Kalispell, Montana with his wife, Kerri. Dave enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, particularly fly-fishing and hunting, activities that allow him to connect with the natural beauty of Montana.
Josh Saunders
CFO & Vice PresidentJosh is the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Tamarack Group, where he leads the firm’s financial strategy across a diverse portfolio of companies. His responsibilities span valuation, financial due diligence, deal negotiation, and post-acquisition integration, as well as investment performance monitoring and strategic co-investor relations.
In addition to his M&A leadership, Josh oversees core operational functions including financial reporting and analysis, risk management, and information technology. He also serves on the Boards of several Tamarack portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Tamarack, he was CFO of a Montana-based franchise group, where he led strategy and growth initiatives across multiple states. His career started with 7 years in public accounting, working on both the assurance and tax side.
He holds degrees in Accounting and Political Science from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Josh is passionate about exploring new industries and partnering with entrepreneurs to drive financial clarity and unlock growth.
He lives in Helena with his two young sons.
Sandi Heffernan
ControllerSandi serves as the Controller of Tamarack Group, where she oversees the organization’s financial and accounting operations. She brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, and organizational leadership.
Prior to joining Tamarack Group, Sandi was the Chief Financial Officer of Pinnacle Partners, an Opportunity Zone investment firm based in Seattle, Washington. She also served as Vice President of Finance for American Life, Inc., a real estate investment and property management company with over $1 billion in EB-5 capital deployed and 3.5 million square feet under management. Earlier in her career, she held the role of Senior Vice President and Controller at Red Lion Hotels and has extensive experience supporting startup organizations in establishing robust accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
Sandi is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Montana and Washington and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
She resides in Kalispell, Montana, with her husband, Shawn, and their two dogs, and is an avid outdoor enthusiast.
Corri Minnehan
Accounting ManagerAs one of the Accounting Managers at Tamarack Group, Corri specializes in navigating complex financial details to bring clarity and insight into the company’s big-picture financial statements. She excels at digging into the weeds of various accounts and transforming data into accurate, meaningful reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
Born and raised in Kalispell, Montana, Corri is now proud to be raising her two daughters in her hometown. She earned her associate’s degrees in both Science and Art from Flathead Valley Community College and immediately transferred to Montana State University where she obtained her first Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology. She later completed her Bachelor's in Accounting from Montana State University–Billings.

Keeli Mannix
Accounting ManagerBorn and raised in Helena, Montana, Keeli is an experienced Accounting Manager at the Tamarack Group, a role she is deeply honored to hold within this family firm.
Keeli's expertise is centered on ensuring financial clarity and integrity. Her core responsibilities include meticulously reconciling and cleaning up books to guarantee accurate and reliable data. She is responsible for financial oversight, monitoring business activity, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and managing all Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Furthermore, Keeli excels at data organization, systematically compiling complex business activity into organized, accessible spreadsheets that provide a clear foundation for strategic decisions.
Keeli earned her Associate's Degree in Accounting and Bookkeeping from the Helena College of Technology. Her passion for complex financial challenges and precision began during her first public accounting position, which preceded her tenure at Tamarack.
Her commitment to diligence and accuracy makes her a vital contact point for accounts and a key contributor to the firm's financial health, ensuring the preservation and continuation of the Tamarack Group's trusted family legacy.
